I am a 52 y/o single man who practices Islam. I have been a Muslim since 1996. Even though I am Muslim, I also came to know that God is so much more than our puny doctrines. Islam like other religions can limit our growth if we are not careful. Thankfully in 1997, I became a Sheik, (which is like a pastor in Christianity). During my training I was introduced to a Sufi form of Islam in Moorish teaching and it introduced me to Buddhism and Taoism. I now do yoga and chi arts and am a vegetarian. It has been a wonderful experience and I trust is making me a better man, priest, father, friend and servant to the people. Currently I drive 18wheelers for a living and I hope to have a small fleet of trucks by the first of the year so I can hire our people. I also am trained to work with addicts for recovery. My business will train those addicts who recover, in transportation and manufacturing. It is a difficult vision, but I trust it is a worthy one.
The woman I seek, must also love God first and love working to uplift the people. She must be a seeker of truth and hungers for deep intimacy and oneness with the love of her life. When scriptures say husband and wife becomes one, I see that as the noblest of goals. Romance and passion are blissfully important and open sharing of souls primary.
